While the Verizon we know is just over 20 years old, its legacy is inextricably tied to the many telecommunications companies that came before it—and even the history of human communication at large. To preserve this history — as well as the legacy Verizon is working to build every day — we created the Verizon Story corporate museum and a complimentary web-based digital museum.

• Incorporates over 400 images and videos from Verizon’s archives and history
• Digital museum web site includes online versions of museum content as well as exclusive web-only in-depth stories

A large-scale video display highlighting statistics around Citizen Verizon, the company’s commitment to sustainability, digital inclusion, and human prosperity
When COVID hit, we had to pivot. What good is a museum if no one is around to see it? Our strategy moved online as we took all of the amazing content available on-site and turned it into an interactive experience accessible from anywhere. We also gave the site its own unique spin with curated web-only stories based on museum content added twice a month.
The Verizon Story Digital Experience was instrumental in helping Verizon’s corporate communications team move up three spots to #5 in the 2021 Bowen Craggs Index, the leading ranking for corporate websites. Content from the site was cited in the Best Practice section of the Index.
